My interview session with Al Rogers was great. He is a Baltimore hip-hop artist that is on a different level. His music is filled with textures, and visual lyrics that paint a story. You can hear the pain in his uniquely air, sometimes scratchy voice. His most recent project Almost is 2 1/2 years in the making. I could tell just 5 minutes into the interview that he is an artist making very calculated moves.
